This election is a referendum on the far right. It will be a clear and overwhelming renunciation of the Republican party as we have known it for the last 25 years. Finally, the truth can no longer be ignored. Trickle down, and protecting corporations because one’s ideology says wealthy companies provide jobs and other benefits to the economy have failed and brought the country down with them. Finally there will be a devastating repudiation of this. When Greenspan said he essentially no longer believed in the goodness of companies and corporations, most people who have been railing at this nonsense for over 2 decades shook their heads. What lame-brained nonsense this was from the beginning! Enlightened self-interest my soft behind! GREED GREED GREED. License to take more and more of what one does not need! The moral basis of the Republican party for over 2 decades! Capitalism should be built from the bottom up! Businesses that deserve to grow will do so because people will buy their goods and services. That should be all the support they need to receive. What kind of business needs to be propped up over and over by government coddling? A failing business!

Let the buggers fail! The good companies will rise and the bad ones will fail. Isn’t that as it should be?

For far too long their has been a disconnect between the idea that Americans choose which companies to support by the use of their dollars and the idea that government must prop up every business named tom, dick, or harry that whines endlessly about everything from taxes to unions!

This election tolls the death of the Republican party as we know it. It is done. McCain is the last man standing. And he is about to be handed his head.

Yes, this election is very much about change. Change that is so needed that it will lead to a repudiation of an entire party’s 20 plus years of ideological destruction.

Bury their hearts on Wall Street. After all, that is where they have worshiped for so many years.
